Pulled from Norton account just in case. Norton account I didn't install. Just holding installation files Run the Download Manger. You'll pull Permalink Just stop at installation files folder I will remove my NSwB Not good news at all I also just recently paid a decent premium to renew my NIS subscription.
I could have paid a lot less to upgrade to NS, but I couldn't deal with that buggy software and it's itunes synching issues. Horrible business practice that will cost them in loyal customers.
I thought a had a least a year of peace of mind on NIS, but it looks like I'll need to start researching AV alternatives I'll also have to switch my relatives systems most likely as well. I think this needs to be discussed and understood properly. I'm a very satisfied N user and was planning on switching to NS eventually but am concerned about a forced major product upgrade when I can't choose the time best suited for my situation.
Could you help with a guide to deferring the forced rollout upgrade to NS? Is there a path that you can provide and help me out how to defer or disable the forced NS upgrade? Based on what I read on other threads Hopefully I'm wrong Scoop8, is deemed as product patch not major product upgrade.
Auto Live Update Off will defer My Norton product looks different. That means, for all practical purposes, you will be running the same product as NS users. I think it was mentioned that it's a phased roll-out. So far I haven't seen anything via manual live updates. Wondering if anyone running V20 or V21 is receiving the update yet. Interesting: you can activate a 'lower' product e. NIS when you have a subscription to a 'higher' product e.
Has this always been the case? I apologize for the confusion. Another confusing point: the Automatic Download of New Version applies to major updates.
So for customers with this setting disabled running Norton Security Does that clarify things a bit? Again, very sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean to worry anyone. WOW, that is not what you posted yesterday I do not know if this is the My NSBU version still shows Online Chat Support said I should receive in a few days.
Maybe it's a file to ready NSBU for coming version update. I don't know.
